We were thrilled to surprise Ms. Lee in celebration of Big Day for Teachers and recognize her dedication to Hawaiʻi’s keiki.
From beginning her teaching journey as a 2018 Teach For America corps member to serving students at Kapālama Elementary, advising Hui Lama, and coaching water polo at Kamehameha, Ms. Lee continues to lead with dedication and aloha.

The Sheraton Hawaii Bowl proudly supports Extra Yard for Teachers, a nationwide initiative of the College Football Playoff Foundation, by funding local teachers’ classroom projects.
With the support of the College Football Playoff Foundation, the Mountain West Conference, local businesses, nonprofits, and individual donors, the Hawaii Bowl Foundation has invested over $438,600 in classrooms statewide since 2018.
